About this promoter
Welcome to the Broadside Hacks Folk Club Patreon!. Our events take place at an old servicemen's club called MOTH Club in the London borough of Hackney, UK. Documenting our events feels like an integral part of what we do. Hours of my life (I know I’m not the only one) have been spent watching clips taken in similar spaces and communities of the past, and I’ve always thought what a tragedy it would be were there not records of some of those now iconic performances (in some cases, that I’m viewing over half a century later).
